119 acres in now Watts Township, Perry County - warrant July 5 1762 - warrant survey May 8 1766 - patent Jan 6 1846 - grantor 1L 728 May 10 1796 1T 501 Oct 31 1797 - another reference? 119 242 from Darlene Bieber The date of instrument for the deed was 9 Mar 1775 and the date of record - 2 Feb 1802 ... Vol. 1,Book O, pg. 507 - the heirs sold the land (in Greenwood Twp) to Malcomb Wright ... I'm so glad it clearly states Mary Long was the wife of William ... I noticed William and Mary made their mark instead of signing - and William's name was spelled at first with what could be a "w" but after that was spelled Loudon numerous times .... Unless the transcriber neglected to indicate they had made their mark, Elizabeth and Tunia Long were the only ones who could sign their name ... |
