"In the 1870 Census I found Peter and Rachael Hall living in Monroe County, in NY, in Parma township with his brother- Henry, age 27 and the following children of Peter and Rachael Hall. Jacob, age 17 yrs., Lucinda, age 14 yrs., Adeline E., age 12 yrs., Nicholas, age 10 yrs., Almaria (spelling may be off), age 10 yrs., William A., age 8 yrs., Albert L. (my grandfather), age 3 yrs. and Emma, age 1 yr.. The Census also said that they had 9 children but only 8 living. Then in the 1900 Census it also lists them as having 9 children but only 7 living at that time. I have also found that Peter immigrated from Germany in 1843 when he was only 20 yrs. old. I have found some of his siblings also." EW
