From obituary - 11 Sep 1919 - Duncannon Record, Perry County. Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Louden, entered the service May 25, 1918. He was trained at Camp Meade, Md., and assigned to the 104th Engineers. He was killed in action November 3, 1918 being in a hut with his comrades, among them being George Zerfing of this place, when a German bomb demolished the building and killed Mr. Louden. He sleeps in a military cemetery in France made beautiful by loving hands with a white cross marking his resting place and where sleep thousands of the boys who made the supreme sacrifice in the great cause....
