Notes:

At home in Duncannon on Monday evening following an illness of two months of a tumor on his brain. Deceased was the son of the late Cyrus and Sarah (Carl) Hammaker and was born and reared in Watts Township, where his youth was spent on his parents farm. Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Winifred Hammaker, at home. He is also survived by the following brothers and sister: Joseph H., Eli A. Hammaker of Linglestown; John Hammaker of Mechanicsburg; William Hammaker of Watts Township; James Hammaker of Duncannon; and Mrs. Rosanna Wright of Newport. Short services were held at his late home Thursday afternoon. Rev J.F. Snyder, pastor of the United Brethren Church officiated and the remains were taken to Hill Church in Watts Township where further services were held and internment made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
